street food at sloans

Alright, okay, you've caught me. Here I am banging on about being on a diet, eating healthy... and then I post these photos. Oops. But the truth is, sometimes you just have to have a treat day - and sampling the new Street Food menu* at Sloans in Glasgow was definitely a treat I'd recommend!

Served in sharing sized portions, the Street Food menu is the epitome of comfort food. Whether you choose Sloans' famous Mac and Cheese (which is the best mac and cheese I've ever had, just don't tell my Mum I said that!) served amongst a bed of fries - genius! - or the incredible looking BBQ chicken wings in 'The Cowboy' which almost had me throwing 10 years of being vegetarian out the window, I can guarantee you'll love it and you'll leave with a smile on your face, and probably a pretty impressive food baby!

Priced at £9.95 per portion (which I'd say would generously feed 2), these are great value for money and the perfect way to fill up after a long day of shopping. Sloans is just off Argyle Street, in the Argyle Arcade and you can even enjoy your food outdoors in the BBQ area if this sunny weather continues.

Thank you to Sloans for having us, and to Dawn for bringing me along!
