no7 hot cloth cleanser

no7 beautiful skin hot cloth cleanser

I've been using this cleanser for almost a year now, and for some reason haven't reviewed it until now but I thought I'd post a quick review on it now after re-discovering my love for it since finishing my bottle of philosophy purity cleanser.

Hot cloth cleansers are pretty popular and work by applying the cleanser - which is a thick, creamy lotion - to your skin in small circular movements, leaving for a few seconds and then soaking it off with a muslin cloth dampened with hot water. The Liz Earle cleanser is probably the most popular but after using that, I can honestly say this is just as good but costs less!

I find that a pump or two of this removes my entire face of make up, even my difficult to remove mascara (bonus points for not irritating my eyes either!), easily and it leaves my skin feeling so clean and refreshed. It's designed for all skin types, and as someone with dry skin found it suited me well. It wasn't particularly hydrating, but I wasn't looking for it to help with my moisturising routine.

This helps keep my bad skin at bay and I feel like the hot steamy sensation (ohh err!) from the cloth gives my pores a deep clean and my skin always looks clearer after using this for a week or so. I'll be honest and say that my Philosophy cleanser (review here) did a better job at evening out my skin tone and helping with redness and marks left by blemishes, but I just love the clean feeling that using hot cloth cleanser gives me! If I'm having a pampering night I almost always reach for this because it leaves my skin feeling amazing.

Have you tried a hot cloth cleanser before? If not, I highly recommend trying this. It's only £9.95 - or under £5 if you buy it when Boots are handing out £5 of No7 vouchers!

  1. I use this twice a day because I love it so much, and it still lasts around six - eight weeks! Always get it with the vouchers too, probably the cheapest yet best part of my skincare routine haha. xx

  8. I've been using this for a couple months- just a couple of times a week, but it makes my skin so much softer, although the first couple of times did cause a small break out or two. I got it as my 3rd item on a 3 for 2, and will definitely be keeping up with it.
