meet maggie

If you've read my blog for a while you'll know that I love cats. What you might not know is that I'm scarily allergic to them, and since ending up in hospital after spending a night in the same house as a cat, I've kept my distance as much as my inner crazy cat lady would allow me to.

Fast forward until now and I've found myself living with Maggie, my flatmate Jonny's cat. I had several reactions when I visited Jonny at his old flat, so it's a mystery how I've not had as much as a single sneeze down to having to Maggie in our new home. My inner crazy cat lady has never been happier (even if it is creepy that she wakes me up by licking my arm)... and neither has Jonny now that he doesn't have to give away his baby!

  1. Aww, she's gorgeous! Strange how you're not that allergic to her though!
My dad is allergic to cats, he developed his allergy after we'd got ours and I think somehow she knows because she loves him, she follows him everywhere and tries to sleep on his pillow when he's not there :) x

  3. Aw what a cutey! Great news that you've had no reactions! Cats really are the best. I was about to make a similar post about my beloved kitty as an excuse to use my new camera for something other than selfies haha!

  7. She is adorable, I especially love her chubby face. As chubby as my kitty is, his face is slim due to him being partly Siamese.
