+ they're real... honestly!
The £18.50 price tag of this mascara put me off for months and months but after having it applied at a Benefit counter and seeing the different it made to my lashes, I was finally convinced. This mascara applies like a dream and it's near impossible to get the clumpy eyelashes look. Two coats of it leaves my lashes looking fuller and longer than any other mascara ever has and it can survive a 12 hour shift without leaving those annoying little flakes of macara on my face like other products do.
Although I wanted something that was long lasting, my only complaint is that this mascara really doesn't budge. At all. It's such a pain to remove at night, but I've recently re-purchased No7 Eye Make Up Remover which does the job well!
+ supercat eyeliner
Before you ask, no I didn't buy this because it has the word cat in the name, haha! I've almost always been faithful to my Rimmel Exaggerate Eyeliner because I couldn't find anything as easy to apply, or as black - until now! Supercut Eyeliner is the first make-up product I've tried from the Soap and Glory range and for £6 I'm really impressed! The felt tip pen style applicator makes it incredibly easy to create the perfect cat flick, and just the right amount of eyeliner is dispensed making it easy to keep your lines thin and sharp. The eyeliner dries in an instant, preventing it smudging, and it's extremely black and pigmented.
Again, this product has amazing staying power and like the mascara, survives a 12 hour shift with very little smudging or fading. My only worry was that the tip would dry out but I'm now onto my 2nd pen and can confirm that it doesn't!
