no7 beautiful skin

I bought a few products from the No7 Beautiful Skin collection whilst it was part of the Boots 3 for 2 offer back in March and have been using them since then so thought I'd share my thoughts on them!

The first product I picked out was the Dry Skin Rescue (£12) which is a multi-purpose balm containing shea and cocoa butters as well as skin loving vitamins and minerals. Being a balm, the consistency is quite thick and heavy but the moment it touches your skin it soaks in and instantly hydrates any dry patches. I suffer from dry skin (mainly on my nose and chin) and apply it to my dry patches after cleansing before bed each night, no product has worked as well as this one does and if I use this regularly my dry patches are non-existant

I'm also suffering from blemishes quite a lot at the moment, not lots of them, but just the odd really sore, red one. The Rapid Spot Rescue (£9) claims to reduce spot size in just 2 hours and I'd say it definitely lives up to this! It's a transparent gel-like product which makes it easy to apply throughout the day and it definitely does reduce redness and the size of blemishes. It doesn't completely clear them up, but by the end of the day, if ive remembered to apply it every 2hrs, my unsightly blemishes are usually barely visible!

Finally, I picked up the Skin Blemish Defence Serum (£16) which is a serum that works to unblock pores and clear excess sebum to give smoother, blemish free skin. Out of the 3 products I bought, this is the only one I wasn't impressed with. It makes my skin feel really fresh and smooth, but I haven't noticed any difference in appearance, pores or blemishes which is disappointing considering the price tag.

Overall I was impressed with the range. It is quite expensive, and probably a little more than I'd like to pay for skincare products but after 3 months there's still a lot of product left so a little does go a long way. Boots are handing out £5 off No7 vouchers at the moment, and I plan to use mine on some more skincare products such as their Hot Cloth Cleanser and Night Cream.

Have you tried anything from the No7 Beautiful Skin collection? What did you think?

  4. I've tried stuff from the 'green' range for oily skin and like what I've tried - They smell AMAZING. However I'm really not sure about the night cream and its pore clogging abilities <_< >_>

  6. Oh I hate no7, had a very bad experience with a primer once upon a time. It clogged, it flaked. It was generally everything I hated. Glad to hear maybe they are getting a wee bit better. x

  8. I've got the Beautiful Skin moisturiser in dry/very dry and it works wonders, I swear by it actually. I tried a higher end brand but didn't feel like it was as good as the No.7 one. I'm really impressed with this range because usually I hate No.7 products.

    1. Oh I think I might pick that up if it's good. I love the Estee Lauder moisturiser but it's far too expensive. I quite like No7 products, their branding doesn't really excite me though. x

  10. I really want to try this range - though I'm glad I read this firt as the Skin Blemish Defence Serum was one of the main ones I wanted to go for. Trying to use up all my other skincare stuff before I buy more though - too much stuff cluttering up my bathroom at the moment that's all half used and then been disgarded for something new and interesting! :L

  11. I've been using the Normal/Oily range of the Beautiful Skin products for a while now, and only every buy it on 3 for 2 or with £5 off vouchers, but I do love it. It's the only range I've ever used that really truly leaves me skin feeling clean, and I've found that the products are good value because they last so long.

  13. It may be true that winter jackets branded companies make use of the finest quality material to manufacture their bags while catier bangles adhering to extremely high standards, however no one can deny the fact that discount rolex watches are over-priced. Basically, the designer labels try cashing in on their cheap christmas gifts brand name as it may have acquired high status in the minds of the omega watches for sale buyers and more often than not people choose theses designer handbags not because of their quality and crafty designs cheap louis vuitton handbags but for their status symbol factor.
