empty bullet shell

dress: republic | necklace: wired jewellery | ring: topshop | lipstick: revlon cherries in the snow

OH HI GUYS. Remember me? I feel like it's been ages since I last done an outfit post. 8am starts at work mean I'm throwing on a pair of leggings and a oversized top most days because it's the easy option, but I picked up this cute dress in the Republic sale and it felt like I had made a bit of effort for a change! It will probably be one of those dresses that are indecently short after the first wash, even though I sized up to make it that bit longer!

I'm also loving this gorgeous quartz bullet necklace I bought from Wired Jewellery. Each one is unique and I love the meaning behind it. The empty bullet shell is destructive and dangerous, and the quartz crystals symbolize healing, both pieces put together represent anti-violence.

I feel like I'm having a good hair day for once too. After getting my hair cut and realising how unhealthy it is, I've decided to ditch the straighteners. You'd never guess though, would you? I don't even know why I feel like I need them.

  1. That dress is gorgeous on you, bet you felt nice sashaying into work in that, swit-swoo! :)

I wish I could ditch the straighteners, my hair has been awful lately, so many split ends and those flyaway broken roots. My hair is naturally straight it's just that it's so darned thick that I straighten it to thin it down a bit. I have this fear that my hair is going to be totally ruined in a few years time!

I've seen that bullet necklace on another blog, I really want one, they're gorgeous!

    1. I did feel a little over dressed, but it made a change!

I've just had mine cut but still have quite a few split ends - definitely time I gave my hair some TLC! There's no reason for me to use straighteners at all, I've no idea why I even own a pair! Are there no products that would help thin your hair down?

    1. Sometimes I wish my hair was curly! It gets boring having naturally straight hair, it never holds a curly/wavy style either, zzz! I'd trade hair for a day anytime! ;) x
