shake it out

dress: primark | cardigan: h&m | necklace: primark | ring: topshop

I've had this dress for a few months now, not sure why I haven't posted it before! It was only £6 aswell. It shrunk in the wash and is now indecently short but I love the print too much to stop wearing it! I also finally managed to track down this cardigan in H&M. It's been out of stock ever since I fell in love with it the day before payday and wasn't able to afford it so I was so excited when I saw it last week! It's my favourite colour and I love anything with elbow patches. Don't think I've stopped wearing it since buying it...

My nails are hideous, but I kind of love them at the same time. I think this is only the second time I've ever used my Barry M crackle top coat, haha. I'm not really a fan but the green looked so nice with black when I was designing a set of Halloween nails for the shop that I wanted to try it. The Halloween nails should be on sale at the start of next week! I'm excited! The code 'FACEBOOK20' will get you 20% off up until midnight tomorrow.

I'm in a really good mood today! Remember those exciting opportunities that I'd been crossing my fingers for? Well, those who follow me on Twitter will know that I got some amazing news last night! Work are sending me away to Newcastle for 2 months, possibly longer, putting me up in a posh hotel and are paying for me to go back home on my days off. The whole thing has made me really happy, I've been needing a 'change' in my life and this is just perfect! Goodness knows how I'll keep up blogging though. I definitely won't stop, I think I'll just need to be a bit more organised! Luckily my new tripod weighs barely anything and is travel sized so lets hope the hotel room has a blank white wall, haha! ;)

  8. Congrats on the job thing, hope you enjoy it! :) I like Newcastle. I live just outside London but have been up there to visit friends a few times, and everyone is so friendly!
I love the cardigan, actually tried it on a few weeks ago but it was huge on me - I even tried on a size 6 [usually a 10 in h&m], maybe it was just a dodgy size! Looks great on you though! xx
