monochromatic aztec

After spending more time in the past month painting false nails rather than my real nails I'd forgotten how difficult it is to paint your 'wrong' hand, especially when the design you're trying to paint is aztec! Despite my own nails looking a bit sloppy in comparision to the falsies I quite like these monochrome aztec nails and I've decided to put them up for sale in my shop too for just £5 per set. You can buy them here!

I got my hair cut for the first time in almost a year today and for the first time in my life I'm happy with what the hairdresser done! I only wanted my split ends trimmed and my layers shortened as usual but I always end up coming out with hair much shorter than I'd imagined but she done a great job and I even let her shape my fringe which I don't usually do! Hopefully I'll be able to show you soon once my new tripod arrives - my old one keeps collapsing which is the reason for the lack of outfit posts lately!

I'm just about to get ready for work but I've got a competition running on the Dainty Nails Facebook Page where you can win a set of nails (you can choose any design in the shop!) just by 'liking' the wall post. It's running until 6pm tonight if you want to enter!

  5. This design is awesome, I've never bought any nails but these definitely inspire me to do so, I could never recreate this print with just paint, especially on my wrong hand!!

  9. Hey Charlene, I just wanted to say congrats on your nail shop. I love the idea, the name and the designs. I saw your tweets about people copying and just thought I'd say you're the original and most people know that! But I understand how annoying being copied is.

  21. Eurgh I know what you mean about the hairdressers. I hate going! Mine always tries to force me to have a "trim" every 10 weeks but always ends up taking over an inch off. How will this help growth?! I think they lie.
    Gah hairdresser rant over.
Love the nails, my wrong hand is my left and it always looks crap.
