aztec dreams

dress: h&m | necklace: primark | lipstick: barry m - pillar box red

I've got a funny feeling everyone is going to comment telling me to keep this dress, but I'm just not sure. I absolutely love it. I love the colours, I love the print, I love the length. But I just can't get used to the full skirt. I'm usually more of a bodycon type of person. I ironed some of the pleats out, which made m feel a bit more comfortable but I'm still edging towards returning it because I'd probably not get much wear out of it. RUBBISH.

Honestly can't believe it's Friday already, I've been such a slacker this week. I've had some bad news and lots of drama going out so I haven't achieved very much! I did go for my first garra rufa fish pedicure on Wednesday and loved it so much that I went back for a second one yesterday! I have a phobia of people touching my feet but for some reason I am okay with fish nibbling them, hmm. It wasn't even that tickly and my feet are so much smoother! I've had 1 and a half hours of fish nibbling action (it's usually £18 for 30 minutes but it's a new business offering £5 for 30 minutes.. and then they forgot all about me and left me in for an hour by accident yesterday!) and can see a huge improvement. I'm not sure if I could afford to keep going regularly but I'll definitely be looking out for more offers.

I've just finished posting out all of the orders from the Dainty Nails buy 1 get 1 free sale last week. I can't believe how many orders I received! Because it's Friday, and because I'm in a good mood I've set up the discount code 'TGIF' which will get the first 10 people to use it 25% off their entire order!

  6. Keep! I bought a similar cut of dress in h&m last week and was unsure too but now love it! The print and colours are so gorgeous! I'm also not keen on anything touching my feet so have always been a bit put off fish pedicures, but may have to give it a go! Hope you have a good weekend! x

  7. Haha, if I say Keep the dress! it won´t come as much of a surprise then, will it? Really, it´s lovely. But I know how you feel, I often got problems with things that look and are rather great but I just don´t feel 100% myself wearing. Lovely necklace as well! x

  21. I like it, would look fab with a skinny black belt. It will be great for those days when you want to be comfy. Body con is a nightmare when you are a little bloated xx

  22. I know what you mean about the skirt, it's strange when you look down and aren't used to seeing a big skirt! The nipped in elasticated waist balances it out and I think it looks lovely. The skirt isn't that long either so it doesn't look too OTT :) xxx

  23. I feel like that about dresses too.. But you can always make up for the full skirt by shortening it a bit? Then it'll be as sexy as a bodycon but still full :) xx

  24. Ooo well I am probably agreeing with everyone else and saying keep it :P Love the pattern/colour! I got one of those food pedicures too yesterday, although I had to pay £10 for 15 mins :O Pretty expensive here but had to give it a go and I was really impressed

  25. I tried on that dress myself and I get what you mean about the full skirt, I tend to wear dresses like that so I'm a bit more used to it but this one felt a bit stiff.
It does look lovely on you though, the print is wonderful! xoxo

  33. It really flatters your figure, but if you don't feel comfortable in it then take it back!

  34. 100% keep, it's so flattering and makes your waist look tiny and the colours are just gorgeous and will be lovely going into the autumn! So intrigued by those nibbly fish pedicures, £5 for 30 minutes is probably all I'd stretch to though because I am so ticklish I don't think I could handle it

  35. The dress looks fantastic on you! It really suits your eyes and your hair colour. The skirt doesn't look that full in the pictures...I'd definitely keep it if I was you! :-) x

  36. I think that the dress suits you really well but if you dont feel comforable then you should not keep it- it's all about what you feel good in! :)

  38. That's really unusual, the colours go so well with gold jewels and your hair colour!

I know what you mean though if one aspect of a garment just isn't quite right - no one else would ever notice but you just know you'll probably hardly ever wear it!

Trust us though, it looks awesome! ;-)
