nail star

This is what 60 nail art pens look like, just incase you've ever wondered!

My favourite birthday present was this big box stuffed to the brim with nail art pens. I could smell nail polish before even opening it, but my jaw almost hit the floor when I opened the box and realised what it was! It contains every colour you could ever need, as well as quite a few glitters too. Most colours have a block colour version and a pearlescent version too which is useful.

The quality is on par with the Models Own nail art pens which I usually use. I find these ones are sometimes a little bit runnier (not necessarily a bad thing, it makes it easier to spread around and colour in large areas with!) and they do take slightly longer to dry. The colours are really pigmented and only take one coat to be opaque. I love them! It's going to take me some amount of time to try out each colour and I doubt I'd use them all up within a lifetime! Now I just need to come up with a way to store them. Ideally I want something that makes it easy to see what all the colours are without having to pull out lots of pens, any ideas?

I know a lot of people will probably want to know how much they cost and where I got them but since they were a present I don't actually know. Sorry!

  9. I keep my normal nail varnishes in the fridge but these ones on my book case because the few that I put in the fridge had polish coming constantly out of the pen part, this might have nothing to do with being in the fridge though because I'm no expert, ha :) Great birthday present though! x

  10. Haha oh my god! I've seen people paint the colour on the lid for easy organisation! Bit awkward, maybe pour a blob on each lid! And store the glitters/block colours in different boxes etc? Or make like a nail salon and have a full on shelf on your wall ;) x

  19. You should take the lids off, then use the brush to paint a swatch on top of the lid then you can store them in a draw or something and always see what colour they are if they are standing up. x
