composure

There are so many things in the shops that I want at the moment. I seem to be loving coral lately, and anything with feathers on which not usually like me. I'm usually a big fan of florals, but there has been a disappointing amount of (nice) floral items on the high street lately. Here's some things I've got my eye on!

001. I've been looking for a new purse for absolutely ages. Months, actually. On the outside, this one looks almost perfect. I usually prefer longer purses, but I like the colour and the gold detailing to over look that. It's just that inside that will let it down. No purse seems to have the right amount of space for the numerous cards I carry, a bank notes section, and a large area for coins. How hard can it be to get it right?! Seriously wondering if I'll ever find the perfect purse.

002. I can't find the link for this online but this little sand timer necklace from Topshop is so cute. It's quite delicate looking, but it's such an interesting piece and I would spend all day flipping it over and watching the sand fall down.

003. I love the colours of this playsuit, but sadly don't think it would suit me. Usually things with such thin straps make me look and feel awkward but I want to go in store and try it on anyway. It would be perfect for a walk along the beach in summer.

004. These scallop shorts from new look are the perfect colour. I've got a big bum and hips and sometimes feel a bit self conscious in a pair of tight shorts but these ones are a nice light material and are quite floaty.

005. Such a cute little peter pan collared top - again with a scalloped edge. I'm hoping the model is just wearing a really terrible bra and that the material won't look so thin in person.

006. This is a terrible photo, but these sandals are absolutely gorgeous. I love the colours, the feathers and the little beads. So nice. I'm not sure if I'm ready to spend £30 on a pair of sandals (why does that feel expensive? I'd spend as much on a pair of normal shoes...) so I'm going to look around for some similar pairs.

  1. Wonderful picks! I seem to really be loving coral at the moment, too, but I'm worried it might just be a summer thing and I'll end up getting over it. It is such a gorgeous colour, though.
Anyway, my favourite of these is the peter pan collared top - it's adorable! But I also love those shorts, the colour's just lovely.

  2. The scallop edged shorts are gorgeous, I saw those last week but there weren't any of my size left ): Love the playsuit too. I'm really drawn to coral, pinky tones at the moment as well (:

  5. Love the purse- I like the other colours it comes in too. I usually prefer a longer purse too, but thinking it may time to try and scale down the amount I carry and it'll fit better in my new bag!

  6. I tried those sandals on, they look awful on me though! I absolutely love that playsuit, not seen it before! And those shorts - I have big hips and a big bum too, have you tried them on then? I've been after a pair like this for ages, and these look perfect, so if they're flattering - Well, you're gonna ruin my overdraft!

    Great pics! :D xx

  8. Oh that playsuit is so cute, I love the pattern and colours but I don't really suit thin straps either. Those scallop edge shorts are darling though! Coral is such a lovely Summery colour, I was obsessed with coral nail varnish the whole of last Summer. x

Mines grey, and I've had it about 4 years and its still going strong. It has a massive coin purse in the middle which can be taken out and used on its own, and has plenty of card slots which can hold two/three cards each and two notes compartments too :) you can get it on ebay in purple too :) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/EX-MISO-PURPLE-ANIMAL-PRINT-CLUTCH-BAG-PURSE-GIFT-/160577449000?pt=Women_s_Accessories_UK&hash=item2563296c28#ht_3494wt_932

  13. Aww! How sweet is the Peter Pan shirt? :) Definitely my favourite.

To be honest, I'd say £30 is a bit extortionate for sandals. I'm sure Primark will come up with a good copy in a few weeks.
