week in photos #3

001-002. I met up with my friend Martina at the beginning of the week to trade Christmas presents. Yes, you did read that right! I bought her a Holga 135BC camera and she bought me this gorgeous Me and Zena necklace which I absolutely love. It has so many cute details such as the little glass window which opens up like a little door right down to the engraved writing on the back that says 'made in the future'. So cute!

003. I hadn't ate any greasy food since before Christmas until Friday when I had the biggest cravings for Dominos and despite trying to talk myself out of it I ended up ordering a a veg-a-roma pizza and two free sides that I shared with my sister. It was worth it, but I'm now going back to healthy eating!

004. This week I've been burning an Apple Cider Yankee Candle from Christmas in my room and is smells delicious. It smells of hot cider spiced with cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. That's one of the reasons why I haven't left the comfort of my bed and lovely smelling room yet today!

005. I've been listening to a lot of music this week. I've got a gig coming up on Thursday so I've been playing the songs I want to hear to death and getting myself really excited! I also fell in love with some remixes that were featured in Lauren's latest post and since then I've been discovering lots more on Youtube. Typing "*band name* + dubstep remix" into Youtube is my new favourite thing.

006. I received one of the best Graze boxes to date this week. You can click here to see what I got. I've been ordering Graze boxes for a few months now and have been really impressed. It only costs £2.99 a week and you receive a box of four healthy snacks and sometimes a few treats (did someone say honeycomb flapjacks? yum!) too. If anyone wants to try it out you can use my code, which is 66GBJLT. It gets you your first box free and the second box half price, and also gives me either £1 off my next box or £1 donated to their charity.

007. I've been glued to my Blackberry this week after updating the software and getting rid of all the bugs and freezing issues and have had lots of funny texts. One of my favourites was exchanging embarrassing photos of ourselves as a baby or a teenager with a new friend. It wouldn't be fair to show you his photos, so I've photographed one of me in my Humpty Dumpty tent. You can just about make out my fringe... I even had a fringe when I was 2 years old! ;)

How has everyones week been? Did you do anything exciting? It's payday tomorrow so I'm really looking forward to this week!

  5. I have been hearing a lot about Graze and been really intrigued so I just bit the bullet and ordered - I used your code, thankyou! But mine are showing as £3.29 per box? Or do you only have one a week, not two? *Confused*
Your necklace is super cool, what a great present! A Holga is an awesome present to give too, I love mine and really need to get out and about with it more. It's nice getting late Christmas prezzies isn't it cos it kind of carries on the celebration!

  8. Rosie, I get 1 nibblebox every week for £2.99. I've just had a look now and it looks like they might have put the prices up a bit? :( Hope you enjoy your boxes, it's the highlight of my Friday morning!
I'm thinking of buying myself a Holga too. I like the fact that you can change lenses on them which you can't do on my Diana Mini. xx

  9. I'm really looking forward to mine coming; I should get it sent to work really but the posties in our office get a bit funny with people having lots of personal deliveries. But it will be there waiting for me when I get home on Wednesday - how exciting!
I do love my Holga, I didn't know you could get other lenses on it but I have bought an adaptor for my digital SLR that means you can use the Diana lenses on them so I might buy some of those so I can recreate the dreamy effect but on a digital camera.

  10. I used to get graze when they first launched but found I would eat them and then my lunch and although they are healthy snacks most of them are really high in calories. Loved the chilli nuts.

I love this post, loads of pretty photos xx

  18. Sarah - yeah I think a lot of them are quite high in calories but I tend to have them in replacement of lunch so I don't think it's too bad.

Cherry - me too! Gorgeous isn't it?!

Rachel - I LOVE the dominos dip! Always have to order some extra ones too because 1 just isn't enough <3

Kate - My headphones are these ones. They block out all sound around you and are great quality! Got mine new from ebay for £35 ;)

Stefany - Thank you! It was worth breaking the diet for haha

Sian - You should get some, even just try the free one because you can always cancel it after that. I love that you can 'bin' the items you don't fancy and they won't send you them. :)

    Mark - Thank youuuu :)

Gem - Thanks! They're really good to nibble on. I sometimes use them as a replacement for chocolate ;)

head over heels - i love the necklace so much :)

  19. Ooo I can spot a bit of magnetic man, love him! I love fruit and nuts and stuff like that, I have a shop by me that sells them 3 bags for £1.30 and they are divine. Looks like you had a lovely weekend, loving the pink and grey. Happy spending with the wages xxxx
