wednesday wishlist

one, two, three, four, five

In the past week or so I have definitely noticed a huge drop in temperature. Whether it's just because the heater in my car refuses to blow out anything but ice cold air or whether it has just got much, much colder I'm not sure but what I do know is that I really need to buy some some warmer clothes!

After spending the night curled up on the sofa with a hot chocolate in hand I've found so many things that I simply must buy. Many of them, such as this mohair jumper from River Island that I already own in purple, I find are simply too thin to justify the price tag. Why buy a jumper that doesn't keep you warm? Or do you simply put up with being cold in the name of fashion?

The gorgeous cream aran knit cardigan in the image above however has been a wardrobe staple since the day I bought it. Made from 90% acrylic and just 10% wool it's surprisingly the warmest cardigan I have owned! Definitely a good buy!

This weeks challenge is to find a winter coat, with a hood, that I actually like. As someone who isn't really a coat person this will be a challenge!

  4. I definitely need to get myself a knitted Arran cardigan like that one. It's so bloody cold! I agree with the jumper debate! It's all about comfort/warmth in the winter. I still need to get winter boots. Have a lovely week.
